Supply Donations
I am looking forward to working with
your little scholar in second grade! Please send your child to school with
a backpack and a lunchbox or lunch money (we encourage use of a lunch card
account) each day. I encourage water bottles marked with your child’s name.
Please no juice or sweet drinks as insects can be a problem. All
students are provided with necessary supplies such as supply boxes, pencils,
crayons, paper, scissors, and glue. However, we use our supplies often and
are greatly appreciative of replenishments. All supplies that your child
brings from home will be used to stock our student store. Students will
be provided the opportunity to "shop" for any and all supplies that
they will need throughout the year from our student store. They will
purchase these items using money that they earn in our classroom.
Please remind your
student that all supplies (with the exception of their binder and earphones)
are donations to our student store so that they aren't confused when we ask
them to put the supplies in the student store cupboard and not his/her desk.
Should you choose to donate supplies to the class, the following
items are needed:
Student Wish List
· 3 ring binder to keep in his/her desk (1 inch or smaller please) for an Expert Folder, can be plain or decorated
· Every child needs to bring his/her own earbuds or earphones.
Class Wish List
· #2 pencils (Ticonderoga if possible)
· Erasers
· Crayola Crayons (Crayola lasts the longest, packs of 24 or 36)
· Glue sticks
· Child-safe scissors
· Crayola Markers
· Dry Erase Markers
· Reams of copy paper (white and colored)
· Plastic sheet protectors
· Printable labels
· Kleenex
· Baby wipes or skin-safe sanitizing wipes
· Hand sanitizer
· Gift cards for supplies (ex. printer cartridges, printing photos)
· Treasure box items (left-over party favors work nicely)
